OpenHydroQual

OpenHydroQual is an open-source and user-friendly tool for developing models of water systems. It can be used to model a wide variety of engineered and natural water systems including urban water management, rainfall-runoff modeling, ecological water management, integrated water resources management, and optimization and water-food-energy nexus among others. OpenHydroQual is based on a block-connector representation of water systems. Material and energy balance is performed in the blocks while connectors serve as the interfaces between blocks where the exchange of materials and/or energy can occur.
